Beans and Rice

Beans and Rice

4 c. Cooked Brown Rice.

1 T. Italian seasoning.

1 Medium diced Onion.

2 t. Garlic Powder.

1 can or bag of corn; Mexicorn goes well.

1 T. Onion powder.

1 jar of pasta sauce, must be free of Vinegar and dairy products like Cheese.

1-2 cans of beans, your favorite type Pinto, Red, Black, etc.

When cooking the Rice add Onion. If using frozen Corn add to water before Rice, as it will cool water down. After Rice is cooked add Beans and can of Corn. Mix well. Now add spaghetti sauce to your taste. Simmer over low heat till warm, or prepare in Crock Pot.
